I made a mostly Oregon/Washington motorcycle ride at the end of June, 2016. This was a loop of 986 miles starting and ending in a Portland suburb and hitting Baker City in eastern Oregon and Lewiston on the western edge of Idaho. I started the trip with a friend Ron riding his 2014 Harley. We rode out highway 26, rained on heading over Mount Hood, sun and warmth greeted us by Warm Springs, lunch in Madras. Ron headed back via 207 and then I-84 at Mitchel half way between Prineville and John day. I continued on to Baker City. The next day to Lewiston, Idaho. And the final day back along the Columbia on the Washington side.
