Western Beef and Cornmeal Pie

Filling:
1 pound ground beef 11 ounce can Mexican style corn, drained
6 ounce can tomato paste 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Crust:
1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup margarine, softened
1 egg 2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder

Brown ground beef; drain.
Stir in remaining filling ingredients. Set aside.
Combine all crust ingredients. Mix well
Spread crust ingredients on bottom and up sides of greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish or 10 inch ovenproof skillet.
Pour filling into prepared crust.
Sprinkle with 1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes.
