NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS

Treatment and Distribution Improvements’ 2009-2010

“Treatment”

Curran-McLeod, INC requested bid proposals for the new membrane treatment unit.

The Arch Cape Board of Directors at their October 9^th board meeting awarded WesTech Engineering the contract for the new treatment plant.

Our engineering firm Curran-McLeod has started design around this technology.

Road surveys’ have been completed for the proposed upgrades to our distribution system.

The roads are highlighted where the proposed improvements will take place.

Field work has been completed and center lines have been marked with pins and blue paint.

It is the intention of the Arch Cape Water District to confine all construction work within the right ways.

We have worked hard to locate the new water lines as close to the centerline as possible but in some cases we need to stay a minimum of 10 feet away from the sanitary sewer system for public health and safety reasons.

Please understand it’s not our intention to remove landscaping but in some cases where the landscaping has encroached into the road and there are no available options we will need to remove vegetation.

The areas in question are on; Pacific between Marshall and West Ocean Lane and again on parts of West Beach and Ocean View Lane and some minor impacts to Cannon Road South of Maxwell.

The contract requires the contractor to repair or replace all damaged paving.

Contracts will go out to bid on or before February 2010
